Common Man ....Rock On!!!!

I had thought of a couple of opening lines for this post, but all I can say is - HATS OFF for the movie "A Wednesday".
If you thought my Title suggests that i am in a hangover from yesterdays movie, well i was before i landed in theater to watch "A wednesday" today with my family. Guys i havent seen any ...and i mean ANY hindi movie which has been sooo gripping in its narration. The plot was more or less the same stuff we have been watching these days on all media - Terrorism.
But the treatment it has been dealt with is simply awsum. The first thing that strikes you  is the way each charecter is introduced....and then on there is no wasting time- its ACTION time folks. The best part is ..even at the Enter-Mission(watch the movie to know this) we are not sure what the actual story is all about. But then the beauty of it all is in the fact that - the director never gives you a chance to THINK. You just go with the flow and are on the edge of the seat for the 100 mins(yes its a short movie).
As for performances, i am not gonna talk about naseer and anupam kher- there is enough written about their stellar acting. Its Jimmy shergil who is a revelation.
All in all - A wednesday is a MUST WATCH any day.

Rock On...

Ok folks, i know its been a while and no reasons this time- it was plain laziness. But hey in between i gt married , gt myself a pad in bangy(phew- that was a big deal or was that a big hole in ma pocket), but then againthese are not my reasons for not blogging. And yes am certainly not following the new fad in bollywood- Blogging.

But then you must be thinking - whats the title got to do with all the stuff i wrote above. Well for one, if that reminds you of some movie - not your fault. I just finished watchin this peice of entertainment and I should say I was impressed. For those of you who are movie junkies like me, you would agree that some movies(very few) keep you in a state of thinking and probably motivates you to do some thing hatke(how filmy) in life. One of the movies that made me feel good and for sure was a new era of movies was DCH. Now for the same production house to come out with Rock On and to make me feel the same way as i felt about few years ago is amazing.

So for now the mantra would be - Dil Chahta Hai ki ROCK ON!!!!.....

Keep Rocking and see you soon(I mean it).
